FAQs

  • This is a very selective program - as we are limiting the number of trainees undertaken at any one time to 10-12.

There is also a vetting process to get on this training program which involves a free consultation call (~20 minutes). To make sure this training is right for you and to manage expectations.

Ahead of this call we ask that candidates provide some background information that briefly details your career ambitions, your investment interests & experience and your current status (professional, student etc.).

  • Please refer to Sample Lesson Plan

The base training package is 5 sessions (90 minutes each) of 1:1 case study training. This effectively entails completing three full case studies on different stocks.

In addition, at end of case-study training we offer a bonus session focused on providing career path perspective.

Pre-training prep work of 2-3 hours is expected ahead of each lesson.

This training course will be cost effective versus online analyst accreditation programs - which charge substantial course costs for text book/pre-recorded training and a certificate designation + often require paying for prerequisite courses.

  • No grade awarded, but we will provide certificate documentation of your course completion.

We see no reason why this can’t be referenced in CV to demonstrate your commitment to improving yourself and highlight you have completed 2nd LEVEL simulated training.

  • These are “apples and oranges” types of training. 1:1 case study learning is more practical training and complements the thorough course learning of a CFA.

Simulated training could be a cost-effective precursor to making an investment in a CFA - in terms of both time and money.

  • Yes, this is exactly why we included the bonus session at the end of the training program. Please refer to Sample Lesson Plan.

In the future we may pursue partnerships with a select group of potential employers and recruiting firms.

  • Very - simulated equity research training is focused on gathering 2nd LEVEL knowledge while AI research produces more 1st level type knowledge via its powerful search engine capabilities.

They can be used interchangeably and complement each other, with 2nd LEVEL knowledge the more critical & contrarian thinking and forward-looking capable tool of the two.
